So what does the new site already offer NAFAE members, and how will this improve Fine Art Education?
Publishing Arts News and Events
Through the web site NAFAE Members can advertise their own news events and resources. Anything that is relevant to Fine Art and Art and Design education is acceptable. It is hoped that this resource will allow members to keep up to date with the latest developments in Art and Design Education. Keeping institutions informed of the latest development in Art and Design education can only be a good thing, increasing awareness, debate and advancement.

Critical issues to stimulate debate
NAFAE is looking to source original articles that address key contemporary issues within Fine Art and Art and Design education. The first example of this is May You Teach in Interesting Times, an Article written by Steering group member Howard Riley. NAFAE is looking to appoint members of the Art and Design education community to the steering group source content. Interested in helping out? Then please Get in touch. It is hoped that regular, high quality content on important issues will spark debate and stimulate ideas.

Assisting communication between Art institutions
Communication has been central to the redevelopment of NAFAE, as such the site has been designed with this very much in mind. NAFAE now provides a mailing list to its members allowing institutions to pose questions to a large art education audience very quickly.
Taking advantage of all this
For the first time the NAFAE site requires registration to make full use of its features. Even if you are already a member you will need to Join Now, this process will allow us to check that we have all your correct details.
