The NAFAE web site exists primarily for its members in order to achieve a few key goals:
- Making communication between institutions easier
- Advertising Art and Design education news and events to an interested audience
- Allowing members to champion and debate examples of good contemporary Fine Art education
- Providing articles that put into perspective key contemporary issues within Art Education encouraging debate and improvement.
- Improving the quality of Art Education by providing acces to high quality teaching resources.
- Advertising the good content that JVAP: The Journal of Visual Art Practice provides
Advertising news events and resources
Through the web site NAFAE Members can advertise their own news events and resources. Anything that is relevant to Fine Art and Art and Design education is acceptable. By providing a central place for the latest developments within Art and Design Education members can keep up to date with the latest trends. Also by centralizing news and events NAFAE members can reach a larger, more targeted audience.
NAFAE is also looking to provide members with the potential to publish their own web sites relating to PhD and MPhil course. Look for news items on this subject in the near future.
Easing communication between institutions
The NAFAE web site is designed around communication, as such at all times a relevant contact address or form should never be more than 1 click away. Also NAFAE maintains a mailing list to allow easy communication and debate between members.
