NAFAE: Funding, Promoting Art Events
Events for the Arts
NAFAE, a fully constituted subject association, funds a variety of events.
AGM
The AGM, normally held in London, invites NAFAE members to understand and discuss the Association’s policies, actions and direction. It also presents a great opportunity to meet and share ideas and concerns with colleagues from the UK and International institutions.
Symposium
The AGM is normally followed by a Symposium with invited speakers leading discussion around key issues. Past subjects have included:
- Research and postgraduate Study
- Widening acces and participation in Fine Art at FE and HE
- Curriculum Benchmarking
The forthcoming AGM and symposium has been organised in conjunction with Paradox the European Fine Art forum and will consider European collaborations and the Bologna process.
NAFAE Sponsored Events
Periodically NAFAE will provide funding opportunities for its members. NAFAE has recently funded a series of regional events that focus on:
- progression from school to FE and HE in the context of current developments
- The proposed 14-19 Diploma
- Foundation Degrees
- Undergraduate Provisions within Fine Art
